It was strongly suggested that my son’s official lacrosse jersey be TURNED INSIDE OUT before washing. Also on the “Uniform Washing Instruction Sheet” that accompanied the uniform was the recommendation that the jerseys (which have been worn by many other sweaty, stinky players before my son) be washed on the DELICATE CYCLE. I will strongly disobey these directives, forceful though they are, for turning the jersey inside out would necessitate touching the sweat drenched cloth more than I can really handle and no, the jersey must be washed on a much stronger cycle than delicate.
