Cassie: Charlie, what are you doing?

(I can see that he is picking out each bit of Lucky Charms cereal, not just the special marshmallow pieces but the plain oat-y bits as well. So far, he’s been able to assemble a very small mound of “pre-screened” cereal into his bowl. The process seems very time consuming and I’m concerned that his morning routine has almost come to a halt.)

Charlie: I’m selecting each piece of cereal very carefully to check for bugs since I saw a moth jumping around in there yesterday…after I had already eaten my cereal. Probably a whole moth family has hatched in there by today.

Cassie: Gross.

Charlie: Yes. It haunts me.
